Filipino Hub, Hotel101 Global welcome the Year of The Horse in first HK collab
7th February, 2026 Hong Kong SAR – In their first-ever collaboration, pioneering digital listings platform Filipino Hub and international hotel chain Hotel101 Global, jointly organised a get-together, dubbed “February Fortune & Foundations” to ring in the Year of the Fire Horse ahead of the holiday season on Feb 7.
In July last year, Hotel101 Global Holdings (Nasdaq:HBNB) made history after becoming the first Philippine-owned company to list on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.
The intimate Hong Kong gathering, which featured back-to-back talks on legal tips when investing by Ms. Elsa Law, Founder and Partner at Elsa Law & Co. Solicitors, and investment opportunities within Hotel101 Global in the Philippines, Spain, Japan, to name but a few, attracted more than 20 attendees from diverse industries in Hong Kong.
Visiting from Singapore to grace the event was Ms. Pia Chong Cordero, Global Head of Sales and Distribution at Hotel101 Global, who thanked all the attendees who came to support the networking event.
“It’s truly a heart-warming moment for us in Hong Kong to have an amazing community supporting each other. I’m glad to see you all. Thank you for supporting us and thank you for supporting each other here in Hong Kong,” said Ms. Chong Cordero.
The hotel chain’s global sales chief said one of the many aspects that set their company apart “is our global standardization”.
“So wherever you invest, whether in Madrid, Niseko Japan, or the Philippines or upcoming… in Melbourne and Milan, one thing you will notice is having the same layout, quality and features,” said Ms. Cordero Chong as she invited guests to watch out for more properties to be unveiled in the pipeline “for those of you looking ahead”.

In a brief speech, Filipino Hub Co-founder Mr. Parvesh Shamdasani reminded attendees to always decide with logic and not with emotions when deciding to invest in properties, especially abroad, and avoid falling for scams. He also encouraged potential investors to always seek a legal expert.
Ms. Candice Tomale, Co-founder of Filipino Hub, shared a brief introduction to the digital listings platform she and Mr. Shamdasani launched.
“As a Filipino growing up in Hong Kong, I really didn’t feel like there was a place I truly belonged,” said Ms. Tomale. She added that she wasn’t what is typically considered local, she is not an Overseas Filipino Worker, and did not have a business at the time.
“So I had this dream—what if we could have a place where people like me, people like my friends, were able to gather, collaborate, connect and just know that there’s a place for us to belong? That’s how Filipino Hub started,” she said.
On top of businesses, professionals, and events that Filipino Hub promotes online, they also organise networking events “to highlight these kinds of ‘invisible people’, companies, businesses in Hong Kong”.
The event also offered free palm-reading sessions for three lucky three winners.
